AC Shadows Unveils Bizarre Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of banned ceremonies and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The plot features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden cult.
The adventure centers on "peculiar trials and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Transformations
The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a striking scene showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Extra Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana together with numerous items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

- Mikasa costume for Naoe

This update also adds the game's third complimentary story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
